Starting from a line ……
I use lines to describe a space. Mapping ready-made objects in a specific space with lines strengthens the spatial relationship between objects and the space, ensures their value of existence even after their original function being removed.
Phosphorescent lines summarize and flatten a 3-D space. Just like those traditional Chinese line paintings, which always outline all kind of objects. Lines formalize space. This is a work to view at and also a place to stroll.
從一條線開始……
造出一條線，不直接繪畫。放棄熟悉的技法，更客觀地思考線與空間之關係，減少因用熟悉手段而出現的條件反射狀態 。
以線論述一個空間 。利用空間的固有特點，勾勒現成物，同時亦把生活中各種己被功能化的物件，用線條描述; 從加強其與空間相互關係之存在感，即使去功能化後亦保留存在價值。
夜光線概括、平面化一個立體空間，如國畫的白描法概括了各種形物體一樣，把一個空間定了格。作品既可觀賞，亦可進入其中。
